Kellie Mewett, Head Chocolatier

As founder of Somerset Chocolate, quality is something that Kellie makes sure is in all the chocolates she creates. The chocolate that Kellie uses is from the finest Callebaut Chocolate made from beans sourced directly from farmer cooperatives in Ivory Coast, Ghana and Ecuador through Cocoa Horizons and is 100% sustainable which ensures that farmers earn a better price for their crop yields. This means that not only does our chocolate taste good, it does good too. (You can learn more about this programme here)

Award Winning Somerset Chocolate was founded in 2018 where Kellie began to create her chocolate from her kitchen in Bridgwater, Somerset. After 2 years, Kellie and her family moved to the small village of Stoke St Gregory where she continued her love of making chocolate from home in her dedicated Chocolate Workshop.

He was always there for me to talk over my many ideas, dispel my worries and of course to celebrate the successes with too. Since he has been gone, I have realised more than ever that he taught me so much.
